At every junture inlife there are ups and downs,challenges to conquer,mountains to climb, tasks;Adjustments and re-adjustment to old habbits,manner of life, ways of doing things, etc. These challenges are present to refined us, and make us a better challenger, dream achievers,dream fulfillers,record breakers, situation managers, advisers and what have you!

Just as the saying goes, in every nonsense, there is a sense; So too in every situation, there is a solution. Stories have been told of people who in their life time were classifies as a good for nothing fellow, but today have gone to become the ones that people, organizations, Governments, are running to for insight, advices,counsels and so on for solutions to their challenges. the portion of the Bible readily comes to mind that say " there are those who are first that will be last, and those who are last that will be first".Your situation might be one of such that people have written you off, saying that will any good thing come out from him/her? What will count most will not be these and other words, but what your reactions will be to those words. a man ones said that " I careless what people said about me, but what I say to myself" What an amazing revelation!

MR. COSMOS MADUKA AND THE COCHARIS GROUP THE UNTOLD STORY!

FIGHTING WITH FAILURE!

Mr. Cosmos maduka, trhe founder of the COSCHARIS GROUP OF COMPANIES, found himself in a messy and a sticky situation during his early life, one  that is enough to make a personrescind to accepting temporary defeat, and stay in their comfort zone. as a young man full of energy, drive and passion, he found himself in the other side of life! He came from an humble background, unable to go to school, ended up as a spare-part apprtentice under his then BOSS, selling spare parts of various brand of cars!  Cosmas lost his father at the age of 4 and as a result his education was cut short; at the age of 7 he became an automobile apprentice in his uncle’ automotive parts business in the Ebute-Metta area of Lagos. Mr. Maduka hate going to church, but prefer to stay at home Sundays, playing football, watching pornographic films, and doing all not what,films that corrupts the mind. He was always t the negative recieving end of his boss, for his not going to church to serve God, complainig of his negative mental attitude and habbits. He told of how he usually go to hotel to satisfy his sexual urge, and will always recieve scolding from his "enermy" turned friend, for his negative traits and habbits., for these, his boss hate him even much! He worked for his uncle for 7 years before starting his own business in 1975.  Cosmas’ uncle provided him with 200 naira in capital with which he used to start his own auto parts business in Nnewi. In the Nigerian automobile market, the name Coscharis is quite prominent. Coscharis motors specializes in the sale of BMW and Landrover; the company partnered with BMW of Germany. It was a dream come true for Maduka to be the sole representative of BMW in Nigeria because he personally has a penchant for BMW cars.


FACING TEMPORARY DEFEAT!
 

On one faithful day, after much disturbance from his " holier than thou" friend, he decided to follow to church, and that was when his troubles and freedom began. Sometimes, the worstest of events could be a way God wants to use to free you from your miseries! On returning from church, he met to his surprise a sharp and dangering question fro his boss " where are you coming from?", From church he replied with a gentle and frighthened voice of some one who saw a ghost, What church his boss questioned, so you abandoned my business for some stupid church? Who told you that God is looking for a person like you in the church, he mocked him! these and many other hurtful words he said to the young man, who for the first time in his life will go to church for to be transformed! Here again he was facing a challenge of defeat to throw in the towel, when he was yet to start! Do these not happen to some of us, when with great enthusiasm, start a new business,health program, relationship, job/career, education pursuit etc and we face these challenges of people wanting to make us feel like we are a whip! and can not achiee such lofty dreams? See people who were ones good advisers, now turning to be our mockers. Many will at this juncture turn back and say that is all there is, no need why continue? They arejust right I am a failure, but I say no, temporary must not control you, you must fight to take hold of your future! Immediately, he told Mr. Cosmos to stop going to church or face a stiffer penalty, but he will refused and went to church again and was finally thrown-out.

DRAWING COURAGE IN THE WINDY STORM
Mr. cosmos went to meet his elder brother, narrated his situation to him, his brother went with him to his boss, to plead, but he'll refused, claiming that Cosmos usually stole his money, and for that reason, when he was to settle him, then gave him N200 as settlement, for a person who had served him for several years, to his greatest surprise! That's less than $2! It's a culture in eastern part of Nigeria that when a boy serve his master faithfully, after graduation of say 4-6years he'll be expecting nothing less tha N500,000-N1million, and other things to help him start off in his own business, now you get the idea right? But his was a paltery N200, that is not enough for breakfast!. It is always good to have a courageous adviser, who also is a visionier. With anger, his brother called and told him that they should leave everything in God's hands and not revenge; He obeyed his brother, who promised to help him achieve hids dream. His brother gather up some money and gave him and he started his business on a N200 settlement which he recieves from his boss.

WHEN GOD INTERVENE IN A NASTY YOUR NASTY SITUATION
Mr.Maduka would take market from people to sell and returned the money sold and the profit would be shared. This he was doing for some time, and was able to save some money from the venture, he later got help from his friends and his elder brother and went on to rent a shop; this he did for several years and established himself in the business, but he was still not there yet! Still struggling! But one good thing is, he knows his trade very well and was and still is very familiar with all brands as far as the car business is concern. This man is loved by people for his generosity, kind-heartedness, humility, care and such good triats that he later developed after knowing God and vow never to go back to his old ways again, because of the love of God in his life!In the midst of these, Mr. Cosmos met Charity and they fell in love, but Charity's parents' would not accept their relationship, because they believe that he was no match for their daugther, because of his anticident, as apoor man, unschooled, and with bad records so they taught, but this was a changed man little do they know. This ccharming lady loved him beyond doubt, and would do anything to have him, Why? Because she saw something special in him and also believed in his dreams and they both were sharing the same idealogy! For his choice of Charity he faced many critism from friends and families alike and was always bullied by even Charity's parents since they were rich, they felt he was a "gold digger". This is enough for someone to give up on ones dream and think small, but Cosmos was not detered by what he was passing through but stay focused. The ladder of success is so tough that you must equip yourself with determination, fith, believe, courage and a burning desire to succeed! Cosmos remain focused and pressing towards what he truely wants! He finds something special in Charity and wouldn't let go, he kept pressing, pressing and pressing harder and wouldn't buy their taught about him; Charity on the other hand also helpped, by trying to convince her parent of her choice, and that paved a way for them!

WHEN YOUR MORNING WILL COME, THE SUN WILL SHINE BRIGHTLY!
Finally, charity's request was granted by her parent after many trials and failures, but with a strong word to her, that she will come out of the marriage with "emptiness, shame and regret", for her decision. Every true man created in God's image, filled with all possibilities and ability to achieve greatness, encapsulated with big dreams well DEFINED, and with a focuse eye for success like that of the eagle, will always rise to fight when duty calls and when faced with an uuphill task to prove his critics wrong. This was the case with these two hearts, who found love so dearly, and with every possibility to make their marriage work and to be successful, by God's grace. Their marriage recieved little assistance,but they were never bothered. They worked together as one unit and with keen determination, tiredlessly, with great dedication to the union and to their business, until an empire was born.

THE BIRTH OF AN EMPIRE!
Mr. Cosmos continued with his importation of parts from abroad through his friends, but later grew to be traveling himself to do the importation. It was during one of his trips, that he came across BMW motors, who at that time were finding a way to penetrate the Nigeria Automobile market. They struck a bargain, and he helpped them to acquire a land at Kirikiri Industrial Estate in maza-maza, as a franchise business and named is venture "COSCHARIS MOTORS" which is a combination of 'COSMOS and CHARITY' and later went on to buy a big stake in the company that then make him a maor share holder, then later on owner.After  bringing BMW to Nigeria, COSCHARIS, had in recent years, brought in graet brands like honda, Toyota, mercedes Benz, Mitsubishi, etc into the Nigeria market, with all kinds of cars, trunks, trucks, etc that has attracted great patronage from consumers both in the private and public sectors. Started out as a JOINTVENTURE PARTNER JV/DEALER, to OWNER knowing the in-and-out of the automobile business, there by affording him the opportunity to expand into the Nigerian market as a major player.Today, COSCHARIS has ten SUBSIDIARIES, and also offering after sales service to their customers, with a state of the heart service center with a world class technology  to provide satisfaction to customers, and the entire COSCHARIS GROUP, worth well over $25million, about (N38.60Billion), and he's still thinking 'big'. also, their marriage his blest with four wonderful kids.So, you too can be a miracle, only if you seek God to intervene in your stuation and believe in his divine touch in your life, you are not an Island, you can make it! WHEN DISABILITY FINDS STRENGHT TO DO MORE!

Disability may be a disorder that could make a person  miserable in life, but we have had stories of people who look over their problems and challenges and still reach the sky, defying all odds against them. I wonder, if people with disabilities can do extra ordinary things then those who are complete can in such a great way only if we believe!
Believe is one thing that can drive a persons passion to go above his limitations; this believes will now translate to faith, and when faith now grows, it will bring a resurgence, in the actualizing of great dreams that will then come to reality. What are your challenges today? What are does things you think you can not do simply because you are faced with what I will call "your challenge"? Let me share with you one of the world's most notable personality and see how she was able to go on and achieved greatness in her time. No wonder the good book"the Bible" said " If in time of adversity we stumble, it means that our faith is small, but it was the opposite for this brave and courageous woman, whom am about to introduce to you. please, read on !

   

Helen Keller - (1880 - 1968) - Helen Adams Keller (June 27, 1880 - June 1, 1968) was an American author, activist and lecturer. She was the first deaf/blind person to graduate from college. She was not born blind and deaf; it was not until nineteen months of age that she came down with an illness described by doctors as "an acute congestion of the stomach and the brain", which could have possibly been scarlet fever or meningitis. The illness did not last for a particularly long time, but it left her deaf and blind. Keller went on to become a world-famous speaker and author. She is remembered as an advocate for people with disabilities amid numerous other cause.

She was a prolific author, Keller was well-traveled, and was outspoken in her opposition to war. She was a member of the Socialist Party of America and the industrial workers of the world, known as “wobbliest” she campaigned for women's suffrage, workers rights, and socialism, as well as many other left-wing politics causes.

HER POLITICAL DYNASTY

Keller went on to become a world-famous speaker and author. She is remembered as an advocate for people with disabilities, amid numerous other causes. She was a suffragist, a pacifist, an opponent of Woodrow Wilson, a radical socialist and an American  birth control league supporter. In 1915 she and George Kessler founded the Helen Keller International (HKI) organization. This organization is devoted to research in vision, health and nutrition. In 1920 she helped to found the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU). Keller traveled to over 39 countries with Sullivan, making several trips to Japan and becoming a favorite of the Japanese people. Keller met every U.S. President from Grover Cleveland to Lyndon B. Johnson and was friends with many famous figures, including Alexander Graham Bell, Charlie Chaplin and Mark Twain. Keller and Mark Twain were both considered radicals at the beginning of the 20th century, and as a consequence, their political views have been forgotten or glossed over in popular perception. How amiable she is a person of passion for what she believes in, and a keen interest in seeing her dream come through! An old soldier, with a never say die spirit. When a person derives joy in that thing that he/she loves doing best it will become an all consuming desire that will be too hard to break, this was the case with Madam H. Keller.

HER DOGGEDNESS

Keller was a member of the Socialist Party and actively campaigned and wrote in support of the working class from 1909 to 1921. She supported Socialist Party candidate Eugene V. Debs in each of his campaigns for the presidency. Newspaper columnists who had praised her courage and intelligence before she expressed her socialist views now called attention to her disabilities. The editor of the Brooklyn Eagle wrote that her "mistakes sprung out of the manifest limitations of her development." Keller responded to that editor, referring to having met him before he knew of her political views: As I round up this great article, I want to leave you with her heart touching responses!

"At that time the compliments he paid me were so generous that I blush to remember them. But now that I have come out for socialism he reminds me and the public that I am blind and deaf and especially liable to error. I must have shrunk in intelligence during the years since I met him...Oh, ridiculous Brooklyn Eagle! Socially blind and deaf, it defends an intolerable system, a system that is the cause of much of the physical blindness and deafness which we are trying to prevent."

"I was appointed on a commission to investigate the conditions of the blind. For the first time I, who had thought blindness a misfortune beyond human control, found that too much of it was traceable to wrong industrial conditions, often caused by the selfishness and greed of employers. And the social evil contributed its share. I found that poverty drove women to a life of shame that ended in blindness."

This was after she joined the Industrial Workers of the World, known then as IWW between 1916 and 1918.

Knowing your purpose in life is a great motivation, but i want to let you know that what ever you pass through in life, you are not alone, as God has deposited in you great substance and potentials to achieve great that not even, this like disability can stop you! Remember " No man, trying to achieve greatness and success, counting steps backward", you are made for the top!
